Just finishing breakfast at Keedy's. Yeah, I know, it's 1:30 on a Thursday afternoon. So what, you gonna judge me? Don't even.
Anyhoo, I feel like I've been wrapped in a warm blanket by my Mom.
Great coffee, homemade tasting omelette, a side of bacon, a bowl of fruit. What's better than seeing "BREAKFAST (served all day) on the top of the menu? Nothing, that's what.
Great, pleasant and friendly staff, clean environment, feels like the 50's/60's, great malts and stuff. Walls are covered with cool old pics and posters. Been here since 1957, the history is on the back of the menu. I'm not telling ya, come here and read it yourself, you lazy bum.
I will say that their motto..."if it ain't broke, don't fix it"...seems to be working for them. Being here makes my 94 year old dad smile and drink his malt like a good boy, so that's good enough for me.
If you're in the Palm Desert area, make a stop here. You've got my guarantee, you're gonna like it.

My favorite breakfast place...and with arguably, the best staff/employees/cooks/bussers in the desert, possibly for SoCal, seriously.
I always have the Machaca there, and it usually hits the spot. It's been a while since I've had anything else really, but everything else has been, from what I can remember, pretty darn tasty. Reasonably priced as well...but it can get busy at times...even on the weekends in the summer. When the birds fly down from wherever for the cooler season from their perches up north, it gets SUPER packed.
The one thing that is consistent about them though, will always be how attentive they are to your needs...they always go out of their way to make sure you're satisfied, and I can hardly remember a time where I actuality had to ask for a refill on my drink: they always ask if I want more...and I've been going there for a LONG time.

Don't know how we have managed to miss this place but certainly glad we found it. It's the real deal, not some designers vision of a 50's diner. Yes it is a little tired looking, just like my grandma's house was. That's probably why it feels so inviting & comfortable. We were there for bfast & both had the pancakes. Now I know pancakes can be very controversial but we happen to like thinner pancakes with some body to them and these were delicious. The bacon was good quality and still a little greasy, just the way we like it. It is 50's food! Service was prompt & attentive as busy as they were. Servers were friendly. Not a long wait for our food and it was hot when it arrived. Not warm from a heating lamp but hot. Will be back to try the burgers & fries for lunch, a malt and more.

Just had breakfast at Keedy's. A bit noisy, but a great, old-school bfast spot. We have only had bfast there but from the look and feel of the place, I bet the burgers would be great.
